Not enough time!

There seems to be a major shortage of time nowadays, Al and I agree.  We have a lot of things we want to accomplish and there are only 24 hours in a day! Plus, Al hasn't been getting enough sleep and coming home from work cranky and useless (no offense, Al ;-)
So we decided to follow Benjamin Franklin's "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise"--all of which we want to be.  Al and I are naturally late to bed and (I'm) late to rise.  There is something about getting to bed earlier and getting up earlier that makes a person more productive.  I'm not sure what it is, but I've experienced it before.  We figured this would be the key to helping us get out of our useless rut.
So today was our first day.  We had decided to get up at 5am every day this week.  Al already does this for work, but then I sleep until Aly gets up (830ish).  I knew it'd be painful, and it is, but I think it'll be worth it.  We actually did devotions, which is the first time in-I don't know-years!  And then I exercised, played piano, and started on housework.  By the time Aly got up at 830, I was 3 1/2 hours into my normal routine!I even set aside time to spend with Aly, which I feel that I've been lacking.  Now I am using my extra time to blog and read books I've been wanting to read.  I also want to scrap-book and write my paper on vaccines.
Hopefully I just found more time in the day!
